Rum Runner Racing Joins WoO Late Model Tour in 2016

2/1/2016 Rum Runner Racing Joins WoO Late Model Tour in 2016

February 1st 2016 Troutman, NC- There is a new race team joining the already competitive World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series. Rum Runner Racing has been formed with NASCAR veteran Joey Coulter behind the wheel. The team and driver are slated to compete in the full, 50 race schedule, spanning from February to October. Along with Crew Chief Harold Holly, Coulter will compete for the championship and rookie of the year honors against the toughest competition he has seen yet.

The grueling schedule begins this weekend at Screven Raceway Park, in Sylvania Georgia. During the summer, the teams will find themselves in the mid-west before the World Finals in Charlotte in October. To help the rookie team conquer the challenge ahead, Rum Runner Racing has forged a great relationship with Rocket Chassis. This relationship will allow Coulter, Holly, and the team to show up more prepared for the fight ahead.

“I am really excited about this opportunity for a lot of reasons. It is going to be a huge challenge and we are going to get our feelings hurt a few times before we know what we are doing. The rookie of the year competition is going to be tough for sure. Winning the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year award was no cakewalk. I don’t expect this to be any easier.”

As the team pushes ahead to the season opener, everyone is optimistic and ready for the challenge. Each member of the team is extremely eager to learn and ready to show the rest of the tour that Rum Runner Racing has what it takes.
